Alan Pither Ltd has approval to offer the ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Energy Advice (Home) and the ABBE Level 4 Award in Energy Advice (Renewables).

Training courses for these qualifications are offered through the Energy Advice Training Consortium, which includes Severn Wye Energy Agency, the National Energy Foundation, Dave Green Energy Services, Sandy Carter and the Household Energy Service as well as Alan Pither Ltd.

ABBE have withdrawn the theory-only Level 3 Award in Home Energy Advice but we can still offer a three day course for this with part certification for the Certificate in Energy Advice (Home) for those succesful in passing the examinations. This is base don the following three units:

• Unit 1 – Inspecting dwellings to gather data on their energy performance (based on RdSAP)
• Unit 2 – Making recommendations for improvements
• Unit 3 – Providing energy advice to householders

DEAs are exempt from Unit 1 and those who already have the City and Guilds Energy Awareness are exempt from Unit 3.
